Initial consultation with claim handler to determine if there are grounds to proceed with a claim.

If accepted your solicitor sends the defendant a letter stating your intent to make a claim.

Your solicitor sends the defendant a schedule of injuries and losses asking them to pay.

If the defendant admits liability, your solicitor negotiates with them on your behalf and agrees your compensation amount. You get 100% of this amount and your costs are covered.

If the defendant disputes your claim, it goes to court for a decision to be made.
